Who we are

Marbury Studios is an independent product studio based in the United Kingdom, operated as a sole trader by Reuben Wand. For data protection purposes, Reuben Wand is the data controller. What we collect

If you complete the contact form, we collect your name, email address, the reason you selected, and the message you write. We do not ask for anything else, and you should not send us sensitive information through this form.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which may include your IP address and browser type, for security and reliability purposes.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. There is nothing for you to consent to or opt out of. If that changes, this policy will be updated first and we will ask for consent where the law requires it.

Why we use it, and on what basis

• To reply to you. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — you contacted us and expect an answer.
• To run our pilot programme. If you volunteer for the pilot, we use your details to arrange and carry out that work.
• To keep the site secure. Server logs are kept on the basis of legitimate interests.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers to operate the site and our email: our website host, our email provider, and our transactional email service. They process data on our instructions only. We do not sell your information or share it for marketing.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up on conversations, then deleted. Server logs are kept for a short period as set by our hosting provider.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict processing. Email hello@marburystudios.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
